About The Event

Explore the lifestyle/disease connection.

As a former athlete, sports medicine specialist David Phillips knows how important it is to get proper nutrition for fitness. Proper nutrition helped Dr. Phillips in his triathlon training to conquer the Ironman World Championships. With the combination of his training and his research, he was able to fully understand how nutrition affects exercise physiology.

“You can earn prestigious degrees, work in a highly respected profession, and even command the respect and admiration of your peers,” Dr. Phillips says. “But if you’re not passionate about what you’re doing every day, you’re not Living Life to the Plus+.”
