My Story

My health journey started young. My mom raised us eating 2 colors of fruits or veggies at every meal. It was the kind of house where if you didn't eat your salad with dinner, you were going to see it again at breakfast!

So, I knew eating healthy was important, and as a 20 something I was more into beer and pasta. Thankfully, a co-worker cared enough to share with me a simple way to flood my body with fruits, vegetables, berries and grains. That simple change has been the catalyst to so much more.

I no longer have migraines, back pain, or cramps.  I chose encapulated whole food as my prenatal and we have two vibrant, brilliant healthy daughters. While many families spend all winter on antibiotics, we have only had 1 round in 11 years between 2 kids!  Oh, and dear hubby used these same capsules as part of lifestyle changes to reverse his type 2 diabetes. 

Now we are gathering a tribe of "fork fighters". Families who are not okay with the status quo of being sick and tired. People who see childhood obesity and young moms with scary diagnosis and think, "I've got to do something!"  We can take healthy back. It doesn't have to complicated, messy or time consuming.  It does take village.  This community is about supporting one another by being the families that pack their lunch, where soda is a "sometimes" food not a daily habit, and produce has its own section in the refrigerator.

Who has time to garden? I certainly did not, unless growing weeds is a success.
That's why I love my aeroponic garden! It is self-watering, no weeds, and I can grow indoors during winter!
